1st floor exhibit cases near Woodson Research Center and Elevator C

Blacks at Rice: An Evolving Legacy. On display through May 2019. This exhibit was originally displayed at the African American Library at the Gregory School.

1st floor Hobby Information Concourse

Rice and Nasa: to the Moon and Beyond. The exhibit displays items in the Woodson Research Center which were donated by Rice scientists and astronauts during the long and productive partnership between Rice University and NASA. On display through May 2019.

"Flowers in our Neighborhood" photography exhibit by Robert Flatt, in partnership with Rice's "Pancakes for Parkinsons" event on April 13, 2019. Exhibit on display through July 2019.

Inside Woodson Research Center

Weird and Wonderful: Oddities from Our University Archives - This exhibit places a spotlight on some of the stranger items from our university archives like our favorite the fighting owls toilet seat and Rice-themed Monopoly. On display though July 2019.

3rd floor Lovett Lounge

The Good, The Bad, and The Yummy: Recipes and Cookbooks from Woodson Research Center collections - This exhibit focuses on a variety of cookbooks ranging from local ones to a listing of recipes from the Middle Ages. Some are classics you might want to prepare and some are better off left in the past.  On display though July 2019.

Asian American Heritage exhibit featuring stories of Houston area community members and materials from Fondren Library's Woodson Research Center. On display Summer 2019.
