Description: 

Scope

The class covers preliminary U.S. patent searching using the online resources from the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Note: The scope of the class does not include trademark searching.

Audience

Independent inventors in the community.

Rice students, staff and faculty.

(Academic patent researchers can contact Fondren Library <govhelp@rice.edu> to discuss alternative class arrangements.)

Registration

Advance registration is required. Please register online. If you need to cancel your reservation, please  sending an email to govhelp@rice.edu, so people on the waiting list can take the class.

Cost

There is no charge for remote training. 

Location

During COVID-19 closure, this class will meet virtually via Zoom.
